Awesome protective cover!

So far I love the Kensington protective cover. I don’t worry about him getting bitten by bugs and his mane stays beautifully untangled. Love the air flow combined with protection!

Great quality, fits great!!

I got the normal horse size and it fits great on my 15.1 hand mare! She does have a longer neck and it ends right behind her ears so that is definitely something to consider! But it is great quality and has not broken/ripped anywhere in the month that I’ve had it!!

Doesn't stay

I have a paint gelding that has starting to sunburn on his neck so I purchased this to protect him from the sun during the day. I do not stall my horses they have open pasture so I do not leave a halter on them. This neck cover will not stay on his neck, while he is grazing it slides down over his head, he steps on it and pulls it off. The quality is nice but does not work as a sun guard, even if you leave a halter on your horse it will slide over their head as they graze. I'm not sure if a smaller one would stay in place.

Near perfect fit.

I have a draft cross that has a very thick neck. The rest of her (minus her hooves) are normal horse sized. I ordered the XL and hoped that it would work without me having to do any alterations. Yep it works and I do not have to worry about it being too tight around her neck. It is a bit too long at the top which covers her ears a bit but she doesn't seem to notice.

Best neck cover ever!!!!

Brass has sensitive skin and last year rubbed his mane out. Ordered this neck cover and replaced his old fly sheet which was one size too big. He started to rub out this year's mane and I got the new gear in the nick of time. His mane is beautiful. Doesn't need to be attached to a halter. He wears it like a champ. Thank you!!!
