I have been buying *very* expensive UV screen masks for my head shaker. Because the manufacturer is out of business, I decided to try the UViator. So much to love. First, I really prefer the single opening for ears and forelock. She's fussy about her head from the sides of her ears down to the corner of her mouth. This design makes easy to get the mask on over her head fast. Second, the 90% UV block seems to give her just the right amount of UV blocking. I tried a 95% UV blocking mask, and she became agitated and refused to wear it. This mask is a great option. Third, the design, while cut really small, looks very handsome with the plaid. Fourth, I love that the simple trim around the edges of the nose and ears because my horses roll and get shavings and seed heads stuck in anything fuzzy, making them really irritating. DO BE CAREFUL of the sizing and be sure to measure. The Large mask fits my 14-2H, large pony-sized mare perfectly, including the Catchmask closure. She usually wears cob/Arabian sized mask. The Catchmask closure doesn't close fully for my 1100 lb 15.2H head shaker, who also usually wears a cob/Arabian sized mask. I can still use it, as it fits her ears and across the nose, but I will try an Extra Large on her next.
