Two layers of coverage on Kensington products purchased at full price: a 30-day Manufacturer's Defect Warranty, and our Extended Product Pledge, which lets the original purchaser buy a like-item replacement at 50% off the current MSRP once, for the life of the product.
How do I register, and by when?
Within 30 days of purchase. Scan the QR code on your product, or register online with a copy of your original receipt. The form asks for your name, email, phone, date and place of purchase, the product name, color and size, and a copy of your receipt.
What if I don't register within 30 days?
If a product is not registered within 30 days of purchase, the Manufacturer's Defect Warranty and Extended Product Pledge are null and void.
How does the 50% replacement work?
For the entire life of any Kensington product, the original purchaser can purchase a like-item replacement at 50% off the current MSRP, plus shipping. It is a one-time discount per original product.
Does my product have to be defective?
No. The Extended Product Pledge can be used once, for any reason.
Something is wrong with my new product. What do I do?
During the first 30 days from purchase, the Manufacturer's Defect Warranty covers material defects and faulty craftsmanship. Fill out our claim form and select “I believe my product is defective.”
How do I file a claim?
Fill out the Claim Your Extended Product Pledge Warranty form. You'll need proof of purchase and/or your product registration.
Who is eligible?
The original purchaser of a Kensington product bought at full price and registered within 30 days of purchase.
Full terms
The Kensington Lifetime Guarantee is made up of the Manufacturer's Defect Warranty and the Extended Product Pledge. It applies to Kensington products purchased at full price.
Registration. Products must be registered within 30 days of purchase, either by scanning the product QR code or by registering online with a copy of the original receipt. If a product is not registered within 30 days, the Manufacturer's Defect Warranty and Extended Product Pledge are null and void.
Manufacturer's Defect Warranty. Products are guaranteed against material defects or faulty craftsmanship during the first 30 days from purchase.
Extended Product Pledge. For the entire life of any Kensington product, the original purchaser may purchase a like-item replacement at 50% off the current MSRP, plus shipping. Proof of purchase and/or registration is required. This is a one-time discount per original product.
