Yearling blanket

I have to say I had no idea any company made adjustable blankets for fast growing young horses. This blanket is great! My little girl is not quite a yearling she is 9 months, that being said it fits great!! The velcro holds well and I love its easy to use clips instead of traditional blankets with the T clip. Should last the whole winter season, no problem!!! I'm very impressed and happy with this purchase!

Velcro front closure?

I cannot get the Velcro to keep the front closed. When my 9 month old colt lays down, the Velcro pops open. The very first night of using this, the blanket was found in the middle of the pen. I am now trying to find options on how to sew on a buckle for the front. I’m also considering just putting some stitches in the front. This is a very poor design and there are not many options for yearling blankets! Hook and loop front closure? No, there is no hook and loop. What am I missing here???

Velcro front closure??

Has anyone found a way to keep the Velcro from popping open? Every time I use this blanket, I find it in the middle of the pen because the Velcro doesn’t stay secure. Now I’m at the fabric store trying to figure out a way to put a stitch in this to keep it From popping open. The Velcro was not strong enough on this blanket!!
