I have a big, boisterous young colt who will not keep a flymask on and keeps ripping them, sometimes daily. I finally said No More Flymasks For Him as I just couldn’t afford it anymore. Last spring my gelding was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his left eye. It was removed, we did the chemo eye drops and he is doing great! He now requires daily UA protection to help prevent this from reoccurring. I found Kensington and never looked back! I’ve never had a fly mask that stayed on this well and holds up so great to pasture-life! My boy waits to have it put on every morning and doesn’t have any rub marks or show any signs of discomfort with daily wear.

The Kensington were my 4th brand and I was ready to give up. The feather on my Gypsy let the other brands slide under her hoofs. So they would not stay and got ruined being trod on in the pasture. She is very fly sensitive and kept stomping her feet. Now she is not stomping which makes us very happy 😆

Miracle has a very small headcount and kept working her ears out of the ear holes even with her halter on top of the mask so we slipped the head strap through the forelock hole to hold it in place. Her eye looks wonderful and is protected from the UV light she had a bad uveitis that was treated

The white spots of my paint horse sunburn very quickly. I’ve used sunscreen & have practiced stalling him during the heat of the day. I was gifted an older Kensington mask. My concern was that the sun shade did not go to the tip of my horse’s face. And she has a white nostrils. But the newer version that I purchased is perfect!!! The sun shade is long, the velcro system is perfect for my girls who LOVE to get their masks off, and they do not get too hot in them in the Oklahoma heat.
