Good replacement

Good replacement for when the straps eventually stretch out over time. I prefer the convenience of the Kensington straps, especially when youโ€™re blanketing multiple horses in the cold!

High quality replacement leg straps for blanket

Kensington leg straps are far superior to others available on the market. That includes the original leg straps supplied by good quality blanket manufacturers. I wonโ€™t use anything else. First, they come in different sizes/lengths, which is criticall for a smaller horse. Second, the material at each ends that clips to the blanket is sturdy webbing. Both ends are adjustable. Third, the elastic part is in the middle of the strap, and consists of double strips of high quality elastic, maybe 6-8 inches long. The result is a perfect fit, no dropping, loose straps, giving the owner complete control of the straps to fit them just so. The straps can be fitted to hold the blanket in place without risking rubs at the backs of the hinds or getting a hind leg caught in the straps. I use the Cob size for my 14.3H gaited horse. The straps are just long enough, so be sure to check the length of the straps you order very carefully before purchase.
